Shudokan Hawaii is a historic dojo dedicated to preserving the true spirit and traditions of Japanese Judo. With one of the largest student bodies on the Big Island of Hawaii, we provide instruction for students of all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
Guided by traditional Japanese teaching methods, we emphasize discipline, technical excellence, and respect. Our mission is to provide an authentic Judo experience while fostering strong character, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for the values of Judo.

Thanks to the participation, enthusiasm, and support of everyone who joined us, this year’s tournament was a great success. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all participants, families, coaches, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this special event possible.
This year, we were delighted to welcome even more participants than last year, including many participants from Japan. It brings us great joy and pride to see the Shudokan Uemura Cup continue to grow, bringing people together through the spirit of judo.
We sincerely hope that this tournament provided not only exciting competition, but also meaningful opportunities for friendship, learning, personal growth, and unforgettable memories.
Through judo, we will continue to do our very best to support the physical and personal growth of children and to create a tournament where everyone can feel connected as part of the Shudokan family.

このたびは、Shudokan Uemura Cup 2026にご参加いただき、誠にありがとうございました。選手の皆様をはじめ、ご家族の皆様、指導者の皆様、ボランティアの皆様、そして大会を支えてくださったすべての皆様のお力添えにより、本年の大会を無事に、そして盛大に開催することができました。心より感謝申し上げます。今年は昨年を上回る多くの皆様にご参加いただき、日本からも多くの選手をお迎えすることができました。Shudokan Uemura Cupが年々成長し、柔道を通じて多くの人々がつながる大会へと発展していることを、私たちは大変嬉しく、そして誇りに感じております。この大会が、勝敗だけではなく、新たな出会いや友情、学び、成長、そして心に残る思い出を育む機会となっていましたら、これ以上嬉しいことはありません。これからも柔道を通じて、子どもたちの心身の成長を支えるとともに、皆様がShudokan Familyの一員としてつながりを感じられるような、温かく意義のある大会づくりに努めてまいります。来年も皆様をお迎えし、さらに心に残る、素晴らしいShudokan Uemura Cupを開催できることを楽しみにしております。
